Thanks to this it is possible to construct a nice looking sidebars, packed with site content and any other information. These widgets can be used also for widgetized footer and build a content that is displayed at the bottom of every page. Here is a list of all widgets that are available with the Prestige theme and a short description for every widget and its options.
With Prestige Dark theme you can use also three default WordPress widgets. Links widget allows to create a list of links from WordPress Links section. Search widget creates a Search Form that allow you to search the content and works the same as header search option. Custom Menu widget displays a menu list based on WordPress 3.0 menu system. Prestige theme Text sidebar widget (dcwp_Text) allows to insert any text or code on sidebars. You can use this widget in many ways, for example: to add a simple text description, to build any html/css code on sidebar, to use google Adsense etc. You can also use here shortcodes (in default Text widget it is not allowed). Prestige theme News Tags sidebar widget (dcwp_NewsTags) displays a list of News posts tags. The stronger (most commonly used) tags are brighter. Read more
Prestige theme Gallery sidebar widget (dcwp_Gallery) creates a sidebar version of chain slider gallery. It works almost the same as homepage chain slider, but for this one you can’t change the size of thumbs. Read more
Prestige theme Contact Form sidebar widget (dcwp_ContactForm) creates a small Contact Form. Email address for this form must be placed in widget options. You can also add an additional description right above the contact form (under widget title) that can be used for example for presenting some information about contact person. Read more
